ClewedIn.com is a website for active boaters who want to share their experiences with others.  The site offers many ways to communicate with boaters from around the globe.  Use ClewedIn.com as a virtual yacht club to mix and mingle and talk about your boats, experiences, knowledge and opinions with the others who enjoy and respect our waterways. 

As you browse around the site you will see there are many sections and ways to interact.  Basic membership is free and offers quite a lot. For a small fee you will have access to more features.  This site is managed and maintained by boaters for boaters.  Please feel free to give us feedback and let us know what you like, dislike or what added.

As you use the site please remember that this is a family oriented site for all ages, so keep the content clean and respectable.

Catalina 30 Restoration - Floor & Keel Bolts

This article will cover the floor and keel boat repair of our Catalina 30 "Clew'd In"


 


 Just to be clear, we are using the term "floor" in its proper form, meaning the part of the hull that joins to the keel.  The part of the cabin we walk on will be referred to as the sole.

These pages will mostly cover the search for, restoration and repair of our 1977 Catalina 30.  We had looked around quite a bit before finding her.  Even a trip to North Carolina was part of our search.  (Who doesn’t love coming up with an excuse for a road trip?)
